Welcome to 52 Division's Home Page. Geographically this is the smallest division but remains one of the busiest in the City, with a staff in excess of four hundred. The Division's primary responsibility is to respond to the many unique and diverse activities occurring in the core of the city. The Division is located at 255 Dundas Street West, on the south side of Dundas Street West, one block west of University Avenue. There are four police facilities bordering our Division, 51 Division on the east, 53 Division to the north, and 14 Division to the west. Lake Ontario and the Toronto Islands to the south are patrolled by the Marine Unit. If arriving by the Toronto Transit Commission, exit at the St. Patrick subway station on the University line and walk one block west.

This holiday season, 52 Division is proud to share the success of our annual holiday food drive! Thanks to the generosity of our community, we collected 1,725 lbs of food, which will be donated to the Daily Bread Food Bank. Food insecurity remains a pressing challenge in our community, and every donation helps ensure that families have access to the nourishment they need during the holidays. We are grateful for the support and collaboration that make initiatives like this possible. Together, we are spreading hope, warmth, and holiday cheer.

Community members are encouraged to remain vigilant in busy areas, ensure their vehicles are locked, keep valuables out of sight and secured, and report any suspicious activity. By working together, we can help keep our community safe throughout the holiday season.

This Pride Month, the Toronto Police Service wishes to reaffirm our commitment to standing with and supporting the 2SLGBTQI+ communities.

We honour the courage, strength, and resilience of those who continue to push for equality, inclusion, and acceptance. As a police service, we strive to build trust, ensure safety, and foster a community where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued — regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression.

Pride is more than a celebration — it’s a reminder of the progress we’ve made and the work that still lies ahead.

Happy Pride Month! 🌈
