19th Annual Grenada Day Festival in Toronto Happening Today

Grenadians in the Greater Toronto Area are today celebrating their 19th Annual Grenada Day Festival today at Black Creek Pioneer Village, 7060 Jane Street in the City of Vaughan.

According to Grenada's Consul General in Toronto, Gerry Hopkin, "The festival, which is organized by the Grenada Day Cultural Association (GDCA), in collaboration with the Consulate General of Grenada in Toronto, is a multifaceted celebration of all things Grenadian: our heritage, cuisine, music, dance, spices, value-added products, trade and investment opportunities."

"All Grenadians, friends of Grenada, and the general public, are invited," adds CG Hopkin.

The Festival which started at 12 noon, will end at 8:00 p.m., followed by an afterparty at the JCA Centre at 995 Arrow Road in North York.
