You’ll probably recognize these two lovely ladies. They truly enjoy being part of the Centre and we cherish having them here just as much. For them, and for so many of our members, Betel isn’t just a place to come for programs and activities. It’s a second home.

Such a great morning catching up with our Members’ Council!
Lots of conversation, lots of smiles, and of course... a little cake (just a little). But most importantly, time together. We’re always grateful for the ideas, energy and enthusiasm our Members’ Council brings to the Bernard Betel Centre.

Meet Theeba, a registered member of the College of Chiropodists of Ontario and quite possibly the owner of one of the biggest smiles at the Bernard Betel Centre!
You’ll recognize her right away by her gentle manner, her kindness, and her impeccable professionalism. She has a wonderful way of making everyone feel comfortable and cared for! Way to go Theeba! One last thing. She was a pretty good soccer player.

What a wonderful afternoon at the Bernard Betel Centre!
We were treated to an incredible performance by the first Georgian Vocal Ensemble in Canada, founded and directed by Keti Gontsadse.

Their concert, “Voice from Roots,” featured an exceptionally talented group of Georgian children who absolutely amazed us with their beautiful voices, energy and talent. The children were exceptional, the music was beautiful, and the entire concert was such a joy. What a special afternoon to share together at Betel!
