Canada's oldest surviving purpose-built post office still in operation, in the heart of Toronto's historic St. Lawrence Old Town neighbourhood.

We operate as a Museum, a National Historic Site, a Stationery Gift Shop & a fully functional Post Office.

We're visiting our friends, the York Pioneer Historical Society, at their home base, Scadding Cabin, the oldest house in Toronto! 📜Last night's event held by the Vincent Graves Greene Philatelic Research Foundation in support of TFPO was beyond what we could have hoped for. We are so grateful to Garfield Portch and the VGG for hosting and donating the proceeds to our organization and it was a true pleasure meeting more individuals who are so passionate about philately and TFPO.

✒We hope this will be the first of many events between our two organizations and we are extremely lucky that so many have heeded our call for support. Additional thank you to David Hobden for the beautiful cupcakes, Ian Robertson from the Canadian Stamp News for covering the event, and everyone who came out last night!

With the FIFA crowds dispersing, we're running another War of 1812 walking tour for those who couldn't make it in June!

In this walking tour, join us as we explore the beginnings of the area that would become the Town of York, the events leading up to the War of 1812, the Battle of York, its aftermath, and everyday living conditions while we walk the original 10 blocks of the early city.
