The 35th Eritrean Independence Day celebration in Toronto under the theme of ‘Our Resilience: Our Guarantee’ is underway tonight with great enthusiasm. In her keynote speech Mrs. Amaresh Mebrahtu stressed our independence was achieved & is preserved through immense sacrifice; and that despite of the instability our region remains embroiled in, regional cooperation and integration remains our guiding principle.
Toronto City Councillor Mr. Brad Bradford also congratulated the community on this joyous occasion and underscored the community’s positive contribution in enriching this city.
