Oct 22, 2025 | by Socialist Action Scores of pedestrians visited the Socialist Action display table at Yonge and Dundas in Toronto on a mild Saturday afternoon, October 18. Hundreds of distributed leaflets introduced folks to the Yves Engler for federal NDP Leader Campaign. Several people signed up on the spot to volunteer for the Campaign and asked to receive more information about the socialist movement. Earlier there was a protest at the Zionist Consulate, overlooking Yonge and Bloor, against IOF deadly violations of Trump's so-called peace plan.

Join the Yves Engler campaign for NDP Leader! Discover the socialist movement and volunteer opportunities at Yonge and Dundas in Toronto.

The recording of the webinar "How Vetting Denies Democracy" is now available for viewing.

It exposes how New Democratic Party officials block democratic representation by excluding individuals who seek to be NDP candidates for federal parliament, for provincial legislatures and potentially in the current race for NDP federal leader -- simply because party controllers disagree with the political ideas of some contenders.

To see the recorded webinar, which was live-streamed first on October 18, 2025, just click on the blue link below. Please share this item widely.

Oct 13, 2025 | by Barry Weisleder Donald Trump’s “peace plan” feeds on the overwhelming misery and desperation of Palestinians. Naturally, any pause in U.S.-backed, Zionist state bombardment, any arrival of humanitarian aid, is welcome – even though the plan delivers zero solutions to the root causes of injustice. Trump’s scheme is a fake and a fraud, more naked in its vile intentions than the illusory 1993 Oslo Accords....

As CUPW shifts to rotating strike action, it is clear that in order to defend postal services and jobs all unions and progressive social movements need to step up now. Conduct solidarity job actions and mass protests against Canada Post management and the Mark Carney Liberal minority federal government. Abolish Section 107 of the Canada Labour Code. Victory to the postal workers! Thanks to Rubina for the photos.

Support CUPW's rotating strike action! Unite in solidarity to defend postal services and jobs against Canada Post and the government.
