So it seems like Jarvis lanes are going to die. But maybe for me the most shocking part was that Ana Bailao, councillor for ward 18, a ward with really higher ridership, voting for the removal of Jarvis.

In light of the bike lane removals and what potentially be a new "take the whole car lane if they don't give me a bike lane" movement, here is an article on the legality of bicycles taking the full lane.

In the BIXI program’s first month in Toronto, 64,500 total trips were recorded, of which 28,830 were taken in the last week of May alone. The demand for BIXI bikes is significant.
