Branch 290 Update - Veteran Banners

We are happy to announce we have 30 veteran banners, all purchased by members that will be hung on lamp posts in Tobermory!

We are very happy with the support of all of our members, and all those ensuring that our veterans are being represented and honoured.

We are truly looking forward to having these banners up to be appreciated.

UPCOMING MEETING

Just a reminder that our Legion General Meeting will be held Tuesday, September 8th at 8:00 p.m.

It would be wonderful to have a good turn-out to our first meeting since recessing in June.

If you haven't attended a meeting before, this is the perfect time to do so!

Attention to all members of Branch 290,

If you have a membership card, please pay and pick up your 2027 sticker at the Branch or pay via e-transfer. Digital members can also pay at the branch or e-transfer to: [email protected]

The early bird fee is $55 until November 30, then $65 after.

Anyone can pay via e-transfer: [email protected] or at the Branch.

You can also pay via credit card by signing on to legion.ca, using your membership # to sign in.
But there is only a $65 charge, no Earlybird.

All who joined free in 2026 are very much encouraged to renew as soon as you can!

All renewals are eligible for the Ford F-150 draw!
