Saskatchewan Crop Insurance Corp (SCIC) has supports available for producers that are experiencing delayed seeding or flooded acres.
Key highlights include:
• Crop Insurance supports for:
o Delayed seeding due to excess moisture (with most deadlines up to June 20)
o Unseeded Acreage coverage for land too wet to seed (claims deadline June 25)
o Establishment Benefit for early-season crop damage or flooding
• AgriStability, which helps offset income loss by accounting for reduced production, inventory loss, and flooded acres.
