FRIENDLY REMINDER: HELP KEEP TISDALE BEAUTIFUL! 🌿

The Town of Tisdale would like to remind residents that maintaining clean and tidy properties helps keep our community safe, attractive, and enjoyable for everyone.

Under the Town’s Nuisance Abatement Bylaw, property owners are responsible for ensuring that their properties are free from nuisances such as:

βœ… Excessive weeds and overgrown grass
βœ… Accumulations of garbage or debris
βœ… Untidy or unsightly yards
βœ… Abandoned or junked vehicles
βœ… Dilapidated structures and other property conditions that may affect neighbourhood safety and appearance

As the growing season is now underway, we encourage residents to take a few moments to mow lawns, control weeds, remove debris, and tidy their properties.

A well-maintained community benefits everyone by enhancing neighbourhood pride, property values, and public safety.

Thank you for doing your part to help keep Tisdale clean, welcoming, and beautiful!

For more information, please review the Town’s Nuisance Abatement Bylaw on our website:https://tisdale.ca/uploads/dm/17505/BYLAW2205NUISANCEABATEMENTBYLAW.pdf

πŸ”₯ FIRE BAN LIFTED πŸ”₯
Effective immediately, the Fire Ban for the Town of Tisdale has been lifted.

Recent weather conditions and reduced fire risk have allowed the Fire Chief to rescind the ban. Residents may resume permitted outdoor burning activities in accordance with all applicable bylaws and fire safety regulations.

We remind everyone to continue exercising caution when using fire pits, conducting controlled burns, or operating equipment that may create sparks. Fire conditions can change quickly, and residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and follow safe burning practices at all times.

The Town of Tisdale would like to thank residents and visitors for their cooperation and understanding during the Fire Ban.

FIRE BAN IN EFFECT – EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

The Tisdale Fire Chief has issued a FIRE BAN for the Town of Tisdale effective immediately and until further notice due to extreme fire risk conditions.

ALL OPEN BURNING IS PROHIBITED.

This includes, but is not limited to:

❌ Fire pits and backyard fires
❌ Burning barrels
❌ Brush, yard waste, and debris burning
❌ Recreational fires and bonfires
❌ Fireworks and pyrotechnics
❌ Any outdoor burning activity capable of producing sparks or embers

Current conditions create a significant risk of fire spread. A single spark can threaten homes, businesses, public infrastructure, and the safety of residents and emergency responders.

Residents are expected to comply with this order. Failure to do so may result in enforcement action, fines, liability for damages, and the costs associated with fire suppression where applicable.

The Fire Ban will remain in effect until conditions improve and the restriction is formally lifted by the Tisdale Fire Chief.

We appreciate the cooperation of all residents in helping protect our community during this period of elevated fire danger.
