🚶‍♀️💙 What an incredible weekend for the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's!

As we continue to reflect on the energy, community spirit, and support shown across our Walks, we wanted to share a little sneak peek of the action from the Timmins walk. From heartfelt moments to smiling faces and every step taken in support of people living with dementia and their care partners, this year's walk was truly something special.

But we're not done yet!

Stay tuned to our pages over the coming weeks as we'll be sharing a special compilation video featuring highlights from all four Walk locations, along with the grand total raised through this year's campaign.

To everyone who walked, donated, volunteered, sponsored, and cheered us on; thank you for helping us make a difference in the lives of families affected by Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.

The best is yet to come! đź’™

As we begin sorting through the hundreds of photos, replaying countless moments, and trying to put into words everything we experienced this past weekend, we need to pause for a moment and simply say:

Thank you.

Thank you to every volunteer who gave their time, every sponsor who believed in our mission, every Elder who shared their wisdom, every Honoree Family who entrusted us with their stories, every Board Member who helped guide the journey, every politician and community leader who showed their support, every first responder who helped keep our events safe, and every single fundraiser, walker, donor, and supporter who stood with us.

Together, you helped make all four Walk for Alzheimer's events a resounding success.

What makes these walks so special isn't the distance we travel; it's the reason we travel it. It's the families walking in memory of someone they love. It's the caregivers who continue to show incredible strength. It's the friends, neighbours, businesses, and communities who come together to remind those affected by dementia that they are not alone.

Over four communities, we witnessed thousands of moments of kindness, connection, laughter, remembrance, and hope. We saw generations walking side by side. We heard stories that moved us. We shared hugs, tears, smiles, and celebrations.

And through it all, we were reminded that when a community comes together for a cause bigger than itself, something truly remarkable happens.

The impact of this weekend will extend far beyond the finish lines. The funds raised will help ensure that local individuals and families living with dementia continue to receive the support, education, and programs they need when they need them most.

There will be many more photos, stories, and reflections to share in the days ahead. But before we do, we wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for walking with us, supporting us, and helping us create hope for families across Northeastern Ontario.

Every step mattered. Every dollar mattered. Every person mattered. đź’™
