With school starting next week, donations of school snacks and other grocery items are needed for the Tilbury Information and Help Centre - United Way of Chatham-Kent. If you can give, please do!

Donations can be dropped off at the Centre, Tuesday – Friday between 9:00am – 4:00pm (26 Queen Street North, Tilbury)

TOMORROW, Friday, Sept. 4th when you visit the Tilbury Foodland support your community with a pre-bagged donation! Select a bag at checkout to provide essential non-perishable groceries directly to the Food Bank at the Tilbury Information and Help Centre - United Way of Chatham-Kent 💓

PICK YOUR IMPACT! Choose the bag amount that fits your budget at the register with $5, $10, $15 or $20 options available. Each option makes a big difference in stocking our shelves for neighbours in need!

🎒 TILBURY — OPERATION BACKPACK PICKUP DAY! 🎒

A friendly reminder that Operation Backpack Tilbury pickup is today from 10AM–11AM at the Tilbury Information and Help Centre - United Way of Chatham-Kent!

⚠️ IMPORTANT PICKUP REMINDER:
You are required to bring your child’s health card when picking up their backpack.

Unable to make it yourself? A friend or family member may pick up on your behalf, however, they must provide either a photo or physical copy of your child’s health card at pickup.

If you selected Tilbury as your Operation Backpack pick-up location, please note that the pick-up date and time have changed.

Please make sure you arrive during the updated pick-up time, as there will be no rescheduled pick-ups.

Did you know? Service Canada is available at the Tilbury Information and Help Centre - United Way of Chatham-Kent the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month from 9am - 3 pm.

Get connected with in-person support on important applications like pensions, employment insurance, and more.

Local businesses like Lally Ford are the backbone of our community initiatives! They stepped up for Period Promise in CK by donating the use of their van to transport collected products, and their Mega Machine Party event collected food donations for the Tilbury Information and Help Centre - United Way of Chatham-Kent. 🥳 Chatham-Kent, YOU stood up to break the stigma! We are thrilled to announce the incredible success of month-long collection drives leading up to the first Period Promise Social Celebration!

✨ Over 1,000 packages of menstrual hygiene products were collected and more than $3,000 donated to support Period Promise in Chatham-Kent✨

Period poverty is a reality right here in our community and YOU showed up to break the stigma. We want to thank our Social Celebration Sponsor, Unifor Local 2458, every business that fundraised, workplace or group that collected products, and individuals who organized a drive, dropped off donations, or cheered us on. Together, we are changing lives!
