Let's try something new: a fun, safe Halloween family outing - Saturday, October 31, 2026, 6-8 pm. Organizations, clubs, businesses and individuals can reserve a spot at Kenora Bed 'n' Bale to hand out treats, and kids can trick or treat in our little 'village'.
If you love Halloween, email us at [email protected] to reserve one of our bunkies, or set up your own tent or even your vehicle's trunk. Decorate your spot, dress up, play spooky tunes and give the kids some sweet memories.
No charge to reserve a cabin or spot (just tidy it up after the event). We'll keep a running list of who is coming, so families know where the treats are coming from.
No charge for families to come trick or treat - Sat Oct 31, 6-8pm. We'll have the campfires lit!

**Watch for some separate Halloween Matineighhhh times where families can come visit our animals for the usual $5 entry fee**

We are currently looking for a youth worker to work in our specialized out of home care program for young women aged 12 to 17, impacted by sexual exploitation. This is a contract for approximately one year.

Last week, we proudly celebrated Child and Youth Worker Week by recognizing and appreciating the incredible work our staff do each and every day.

Our Child and Youth Workers continuously go above and beyond to support, guide, encourage, and advocate for the youth we serve. Their compassion, patience, dedication, and commitment make a lasting impact in the lives of young people and families within our community.

Whether it’s through providing support during difficult moments, creating meaningful connections, planning engaging activities, or simply being a safe and trusted person to talk to, their work does not go unnoticed.
