Only 4 markets left in our inaugural year of the Thessalon Farmers Market at the Marina!
We’ve got some special additions planned over the next few weeks, and we’d love to see our community come out, shop local, and show your support.

Here’s what’s coming up:
September 17 — Scavenger Hunt
Come explore the market, have some fun, and see what you can find!

September 24 — Art Show 🎨
We’re making space for local artists to showcase their work. If you’re an artist interested in displaying your work, contact Lindsay. (art show will take place indoors - no cost)

October 1 — Junior Farmers Market
We’re encouraging local youth to join the market and sell something they’ve made or grown. Contact Lindsay to register!
(no cost for Junior Market Participants - space is limited)

October 8 — Final Harvest Market 🍂
Our final market of the season, just before Thanksgiving weekend. Come stock up, celebrate the season, and help us wrap up our inaugural year on a high note!

🍂 Don’t forget—the Thessalon Farmers' Market continues every Thursday until Thanksgiving weekend! 🍁

The market has officially transitioned to fall hours, and will be open from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for the remainder of the season.

Be sure to stop by the marina, enjoy a beautiful fall evening, and show your support for our wonderful local market vendors! 🧺🍎

Please find attached the Town of Thessalon's Official List of Certified Candidates for the 2026 Municipal Election.

Advanced voting will take place on October 17, 2026 and the election will take place on October 26, 2026 at the Thessalon Municipal Office.

The Township of Macdonald, Meredith and Aberdeen Additional was responsible for administering the portion of the election in regards to the position of the Central Algoma Area School Board Trustee. Following the certification of nominations, Heather Whitley has been elected by acclamation as the Central Algoma District School Board Trustee.
