Nearly 70% of people in the project area have completed their water meter replacement booking! As the Municipality continues working through the water meter replacement project, we thank everyone in the project area who has gone through the process so far.

If you live in the project area and haven't yet booked your appointment with Neptune, now is a great time to do so. A notice was mailed to affected properties, and additional information, including a map of the project areas, is available using the link below.

About the Project ⬇

The Municipality is working with Neptune Technology Group Canada Company (Neptune) for the supply and installation services of the water meters within Lambton Shores.

The project involves lifecycle replacement of water meters and plumbing components necessary at residences, businesses, and other water customers in the municipality.

In addition, the Municipality is also installing a Pressure Reducing Valve for all new meter installs, which come pre-set from the manufacturer and can be adjusted by the homeowner to match their previous water pressure.

This week is National AccessAbility Week, which is a chance for governments, businesses, organizations and individuals to take action to advance a barrier-free country.

As a Municipality, we continue to prioritize the goals in our Multi-Year Accessibility Plan, which focuses on accessible communications, employment, transportation, design of public spaces, customer service, and going beyond the AODA.

We're not perfect, but progress is a step in the right direction as work toward inclusive and accessible services, programs and facilities.

Another beautiful sunset in Grand Bend.
would like to remind everyone to enjoy all that our communities have to offer while making safety a priority.

Whether you’re heading to the beach, out for dinner, or spending time with family and friends:
• Drive sober and plan ahead
• Slow down and obey posted speed limits
• Put the phone away and stay focused on the road
• Watch for pedestrians, cyclists, and other road users
• Buckle up — every trip, every time

Let’s work together to make this a safe and memorable weekend for everyone. Lambton Shores County of Lambton ^jr
