Conservation lands are for conservation. That means protecting wildlife and giving them the space to be wild. 🦨

Please:
✅ Keep your dog leashed.
✅ Only visit during open hours.
✅ Do not cuddle or touch wildlife. Not even for views or likes.

Remember, even the cutest creatures can pose risks, like skunks:
▪️Skunks can spray a foul-smelling liquid as a defence mechanism, which can cause temporary blindness, irritation, and discomfort to humans and pets.
▪️Skunks are common carriers of rabies, a serious and potentially fatal disease that can be transmitted through bites or scratches.
▪️Pets that encounter skunks may get sprayed or bitten, leading to health issues or rabies exposure.
▪️Always keep a safe distance from wild skunks and do not attempt to feed or handle them.

Remember, skunks play a vital role in ecosystems, but it’s best to observe them from a distance!

Protect them. Protect yourself. Respect the land. Respect the inhabitants.
