It's almost time!!!!!
🏒 The wait is finally over.
On Friday, July 31, we're inviting the community to join us for the Return of our Rink, celebrating the reopening of the Large Ice after the December explosion.
For months, Town of Taber staff and local contractors put in the work to bring this portion of the Arena back. There were long days, late nights, and countless hours behind the scenes, all driven by one goal: getting our community back on the ice.
When the Town set an internal target of reopening by August 1, we knew it would take an incredible team effort. Thanks to the dedication, skill, and determination of everyone involved, we're proud to say we met that goal.
Now it's your turn.
Before the Verset Hockey Camp begins on August 1, join us as we induct Gerald Beckie and Joe Orban into our brand-new Wall of Fame (trust us, you'll want to see it!), then lace up your skates and be among the first to take to the ice.
Whether you're a player, a parent, or someone who simply knows what this rink means to Taber, we'd love to celebrate this milestone with you.
