Community support like this never goes unnoticed. 🧡

A huge thank you to the CBBC in-house Registered Dental Assistant Class of 2026 for their incredibly generous donation to Cape Breton Search & Rescue.

The class raised the funds through a ticket draw on a beautiful basket valued at over $800 and chose CBSAR as the recipient of the proceeds. We are truly grateful for their support, kindness, and community spirit.

Every act of support from our community helps strengthen the work we do and reminds our members that the people behind CBSAR are backed by an incredible community.

Thank you again to this amazing group for thinking of us and giving back in such a meaningful way. 🧡

Our members had the incredible privilege of once again participating in this year's Teal to Heal event as road marshals keeping participants safe along the route. 🧡

We have volunteered with Teal to Heal for a number of years now and we are always happy to provide our support to them and give back to the community that supports us so much. 🩵

Our friends at Teal to Heal have raised an unbelievable $271,885.42 JUST this year, and over $1,000,000 over the past 5 years. 😍

We are honored to know them and to be able to support them with their amazing event each year. 💕

Our 5th annual ATV Rally is coming up on Saturday, June 6, 2026 and we are looking back on last year's run with excitement! 😁

🙌 We were so incredibly fortunate to have DJ Feener join us on our run last year where he captured our full day as seen here in his video. 😍

We had SO much fun meeting you and on the trails and we can't wait to do it again this year. 🧡

Please give DJ's video a watch-we promise you won't be disappointed by the views!👌

We are so thankful to have this video reminder and footage of our most adventurous yearly fundraising event.

We’re excited to be part of the Emergency Preparedness & Resiliency Expo this Sunday, May 3rd from 1:00–4:30 PM at Centre 200 🚨

CBSAR will have our vehicles on display outside (come take a look up close 👀) and we’ll also have a booth set up inside where you can meet some of our members, learn more about what we do, and ask any questions.

There will be a wide range of organizations there sharing information, resources, and tips to help you and your family stay prepared.

It’s a great opportunity to connect, learn something new, and spend a few hours in a really positive community setting (with a free BBQ too 🌭).

Come by and say hi—we’d love to see you there 🧡
