Developmental neuroscientist Eva Telzer, PhD, will explore what adolescent prosocial behaviors look like on social media, and what platform features enhance or discourage these behaviors at the next webinar “Learned Behavior: How Youth Digital Life Shapes Moral Development,” on Wednesday, September 16 from 12:30pm ET-2:00pm ET.

Dr. Telzer's research examines how social and cultural processes shape adolescent brain development, with a focus on both prosocial and risk-taking behaviors, family and peer relationships, and the role of social media in youth’s lives.

This second installment in our “Character Matters: Values and Resilience in the Digital Age” series will feature expert insights on what parents need to know about how children develop a sense of morality and learn to engage in kind, helpful, and socially positive behaviors.

Attention parents/caregivers of current RHS students!

SchoolsPlus is hosting the "Level Up to RHS" tomorrow from 10:30am-12pm. A couple of our student volunteers that planned to help lead the Grade 9 tours are no longer available. If your child is a current RHS student (Grade 10-12) and they are interested in helping with the student tours tomorrow they can reach out to me at 902-578-9138 and I can add them to our volunteer list.

• Open for registration on Tuesday, August 25 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

RIVERVIEW HIGH SCHOOL:
• School counsellors will be at the school for early registration/questions on August 25 and 26 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

GLACE BAY HIGH SCHOOL:
• The Guidance Office will be open to assist with registration August 26, 27 and 28, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

SYDNEY ACADEMY:
• Open for registration August 25, 26 and 27, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
