The complex boasts more than 225,000 square feet of space built on a 15 acre parcel of land. The facility connects to the Cypress Regional Hospital, allowing for efficient transfer of patients, residents, staff, supplies, and
others through a connecting linkage. Featuring 21 ten bed houses and 1 fifteen bed hospice/palliative care house, the facility is built to introduce a home-like environment when compared to traditional institutional-styled facilities. Each individual house features its own fully functioning kitchen and dining room areas where residents will enjoy freshly cooked meals. All houses feature their own front entrances and have connecting, secured patio areas for residents to enjoy fresh air. The Meadows replaced three existing long-term care facilities in Swift Current: Prairie Pioneers Lodge, Palliser Regional Care Centre, and Swift Current Care Centre.
