Sussex Swordfish Swim Team Calling the 6 lane, 25m pool at the Potash Corp Civic Centre in Sussex NB home, the Sussex Swordfish

Our objective is simple; Develop and nurture a love and respect for water. We strive to provide each swimmer with a high level of coaching experience that is designed to encourage each swimmer to achieve his or her own goals in and out of the water. We coach swimmers using Swim Canada's model for Long Term Athlete Development. The Swordfish is a registered competitive swim team for our community's

youth. Our athletes range in ages from 5 years to 16 years

The Swordfish Team is managed by a volunteer board of directors and depends on fundraising and support from our community. If you'd like to help the Swordfish Team either financially or with services, please reach out and contact us, we'd be happy to hear from you.

Today is the day that they have been working towards for the last 2.5 months. Those early morning practices, the "bubble living", the support from friends and family. Good luck to all of the athletes but especially to our own Swordfish Sophia and past members Mer and Eoghan. Good luck to you, swim hard and fast but most of all ENJOY the experience.

Update from Atlantic Cup, Sophia won a Gold and Silver medal last night during Finals. Tonight, Saturday, she won a Gold and Bronze medal.
