Last week the Outdoor Recreation Council of BC celebrated their 50th anniversary with a conference in Kamloops bringing together over 300 representatives from dozens of outdoor recreation groups around BC for discussions, info sessions, networking, and fellowship over our common goals. Fifteen of our own Regional Reps and Board of Directors attended , and all had an amazing time!

Last week the Outdoor Recreation Council of BC celebrated their 50th anniversary with a conference in Kamloops bringing together over 300 representatives from dozens of outdoor recreation groups around BC for discussions, info sessions, networking, and fellowship over our common goals. Fifteen of our own Regional Reps and Board of Directors attended , and all had an amazing time!

Effective at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday May 28, 2026 Category 2 and Category 3 open burning and other associated activities will be permitted in the Prince George Forest District (Prince George and Robson Valley Fire Zones).

A Category 2 and Category 3 open fire prohibition remains in effect in the Stuart Nechako Forest District (Vanderhoof/Fort St James Fire Zone). The following activities and equipment are also prohibited in this zone:

โ€ข fireworks
โ€ข burn barrels or burn cages
โ€ข controlled air incinerators
โ€ข air curtain burners and carbonizers

This past week the Outdoor Recreation Council of BC celebrated their 50th anniversary with a conference in Kamloops bringing together over 300 representatives from dozens of outdoor recreation groups around BC for discussions, info sessions, networking, and fellowship over our common goals. Fifteen of our own Regional Reps and Board of Directors attended , and all had an amazing time!

Last week the Outdoor Recreation Council of BC celebrated their 50th anniversary with a conference in Kamloops bringing together over 300 representatives from dozens of outdoor recreation groups around BC for discussions, info sessions, networking, and fellowship over our common goals. Fifteen of our own Regional Reps and Board of Directors attended , and all had an amazing time!

Attending as the keynote speaker for Thursday night's gala dinner, 4WDABC past president Kim Reeves took some time to share his thoughts on the event:

Last week the Outdoor Recreation Council of BC celebrated their 50th anniversary with a conference in Kamloops bringing together over 300 representatives from dozens of outdoor recreation groups around BC for discussions, info sessions, networking, and fellowship over our common goals.
