Gm everyone!
I'm so incredibly grateful to be able to do what I do the way I do it. I know I've kind of fallen off lately, and it's not for lack of want. I straight up don't have time for social media right now. We sold our condo, bought a house, got married, lost some people, gained some people, and Im renovating our basement suite for the last 6 months. Its all day every day crazy.
I want you all to know that I haven't stopped. I see so many of you have grown huge followings and some even started your own businesses. I'm so happy for you all!! Extremely proud of you too.
I stepped back from IG to start building a manufacturing marketplace for us all. And I haven't given up on that. Plans grow and evolve and as overwhelming as it is at times, I'm inspired by how far we've come.
I'm rebuilding websites now, and hope to be at a point where I can start posting more often, and giving away merch etc, soon. It's been a long break and I know consistency is the key to surviving on social media. That said, most of you know I was never here for followers, just tryna f* around and have fun and help some peeps and learn some stuff.
I'm reluctant to say "I'm back" til I've gotten a few things sorted but I regret losing touch with so many of you who I've come to think of as friends. I've not been a good contributer to our community lately and I do apologize for that. I truly believe the people in this community make up some the best people in the world and I'm honored that any of you ever watched or read anything I made. This is a long way of saying thank you. I'm not back, but I'm not gone either, I'm just working really hard, I don't have a choice, this is the only way I know. Stay tough you crazies, I love you 🫡 will try to post something actionable next week, no promises tho

THESE PLANTS ONLY BLOOM EVERY 30 YEARS?!

We bought this house 4 months ago and we get to witness, what is for these plants, a once in a lifetime bloom.

They will die after this.

I'm saddened by that, yet happy that there are two.
They go not alone, but together.
I find that comforting. Cute. Sad.

30 years of life and no one got to see what these beauties could do. Until now.

Lesson in that, eh?

I don't know why I'm writing such a long post, about plants, but I guess I feel like there's a lot of people out there who could relate to these plants.
Underappreciated, ignored, but still working away deep beneath the dirt.

Some of us will leave behind little versions of ourselves, like these plants.
A terrifying act, to plant a seed, knowing a day will come when you can no longer tend to the garden.

I digress.

Salute to these beautiful plants and the 30 year journey it took them to get this point. Truly incredible to witness.

A final thought.
Many of the flowers and trees we enjoy today, were planted by someone else, possibly long ago.

Consider planting some seeds.
That's all.

Maybe someone will write a big long existential crisis post about them one day 🤗
