People should be able to walk into a church, synagogue or mosque without worrying about being targeted for their religious beliefs.

Why aren’t criminal offenders being caught and held accountable under the NDP?

Conservatives will give police the resources to do the job.

It was an honour to attend the Dwivedi Foundation’s Annual First Responders Gala and Awards Night, recognizing the incredible dedication and service of first responders across British Columbia.

I was especially pleased to present Sergeant Paul Walker with an award recognizing his outstanding work in collaborative policing.

Thank you to the Dwivedi Foundation for continuing to honour our first responders, raise awareness about PTSD among frontline workers, and support the next generation pursuing careers in public safety.

That press conference made B.C. look like a skit. A parody rapper as the warmup, and a Premier in an ill-fitting “Canadian dinner jacket.” They could have just done Monty Python’s Lumberjack Song and it would have felt more official.
Trudeau already wrecked the political-costume thing. I still like dressing up more than the next guy. But Eby just looked like he wanted out of that shirt.

Great to attend the Newton BIA’s 8th Annual State of Newton and hear from keynote speaker, Surrey Mayor Brenda Locke.

Always a valuable opportunity to connect with local businesses and community leaders and hear about the work shaping Newton’s future.

When 15 forestry groups tell David Eby the industry is in crisis, he needs to listen.

B.C. has already lost 21 mills and 15,000 forestry jobs, while the cost of permitting and block layout has tripled in just five years. The NDP promised an annual harvest of 45 million cubic metres, but more than a year later, we’re still nowhere close.

Every mill closure impacts a family, a contractor, a local restaurant and small businesses throughout the community.

Forestry groups have put a practical plan on the Premier’s desk: cut red tape, get more fibre to mills and raise the harvest… a plan that could bring in almost $600 million a year.

The NDP needs to stop making it harder for people to get to work and start listening to B.C.’s forestry sector.

Twenty-five years ago today, nearly 3,000 people were murdered in the September 11 attacks, including 24 Canadians.

The firefighters in this photo went in when everyone else was running out. Their courage is a story we must keep telling. The images of exhausted first responders searching the wreckage for survivors still show us what service looks like: showing up when it is hardest.

Here in British Columbia, YVR took in diverted flights and thousands of stranded passengers. Firefighters from our province later travelled east to stand with the families of colleagues who never came home.

Today, we remember the lives lost and honour all those who answered the call.

We will never forget.

PART 2
Trying to get answers from the NDP — no matter the subject — is never their job.
Why would the coroner look into a sudden 15% increase in deaths?
Why all the overdoses?
Why the waits for health care access?
Why is the economy crashing?
We don’t know. And the NDP won’t tell us.
