Join us at Central City on Friday, September 11 for a FREE Tote Bag Painting workshop and design a one-of-a-kind bag to take home.

Choose from two sessions:
👜 Session 1: 11:00 AM–1:00 PM
👜 Session 2: 2:00–4:00 PM

✨ All materials are provided
✨ Registration is required
✨ Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult

Today, we’re recognizing the incredible work of our Guardteck Downtown Surrey Bike Patrol team.

Every day, the team is out in the community administering first aid, responding to emergencies, supporting local businesses and helping keep properties throughout the downtown safe and well maintained.

Most importantly, their quick action and training have helped save more than 300 lives.

Their work often happens quietly and behind the scenes, but its impact can be felt throughout our downtown. To our Bike Patrol team: thank you for showing up, looking out for our community and making a difference every day.

A new health care service has opened right here in Downtown Surrey.

The Total Life Care Surrey City Centre clinic is now open at London Station at #210 – 10362 King George Blvd.

The clinic is the first location to open under the City of Surrey’s Community Medical Clinics Initiative. It will seek to employ 10 doctors, with each physician expected to attach to a minimum of 1,250 Surrey residents. Priority will be given to Surrey residents currently looking for a family doctor.

The City is providing clinic space and other support, while TLC Medical Clinics will manage day-to-day operations.

It was wonderful to see professionals from across Downtown Surrey and beyond come together to meet, connect and build new relationships.

We would also like to thank Stong’s Market for hosting us on the Replenish Café patio and providing such an amazing selection of food throughout the evening.

This week for , we stopped by Oakberry Açaí in Downtown Surrey. From fresh açaí bowls to smoothies and matcha, Oakberry offers plenty of customizable options that make every visit a little different. 🍓🫐

A bittersweet end to the summer...

This summer was not only special due to the incredible series of both community and business events including, but because of the people who worked tirelessly behind the scenes.

For the last four months we have had the privilege of working with our eight summer interns Antony, Asheton, Wyatt, McKenna, Dani, Harneet, Izzy, and Kaavya. Every single day this group came into the office with energetic, positive attitudes and a genuine commitment to Downtown Surrey. We are sad to see them go but we wish them the absolute best in all of their future endeavours - we have no doubt that they will go on to do amazing things.

We'd like to extend a special thank you to the co-op programs at SFU and the University of Ottawa for creating opportunities for organizations like ours to work with such incredible students.
