The deadline to file nominations for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Elections is tomorrow, Friday, August 21 at 2:00 p.m.

Thinking about running for Council? Make sure your nomination papers are ready and submitted before the deadline. Nominations must be submitted in person, and an appointment with the Municipal Clerk is required.

Thinking about serving your community? There’s just one week left to file your nomination for the 2026 Municipal Election!!

Those interested in running for Council have until 2:00 PM on Friday, August 21, 2026 to file their nomination.

Nominees must make an appointment with the Clerk’s Office to submit their nomination.

If you're interested in running for Mayor or Councillor in Adelaide Metcalfe, nominations for the 2026 Municipal Election are open until August 21 at 2 PM.

The outdoor burn ban in the Township of Adelaide Metcalfe has been lifted effective July 29, 2026.

The Municipality will continue to monitor changing weather conditions and reserves the right to reinstate the burn ban as needed.

Prior to any open burning, excluding recreational fires, residents are encouraged to check current restrictions to ensure compliance.

If you missed the June 1 deadline to update your school support designation, you can still update your information through MPAC.

Your update won't appear on the Preliminary List of Electors, but your school support information can still be updated on the final Voters List. After submitting your update, you'll receive a confirmation email. Forward it to the Township so your school support information can be updated.
