While visiting the Mill Creek Central Railroad this past weekend, we were told to check out the Associated Model Railroad Engineers of Coshocton in Coshocton Ohio. We were not disappointed!

Some of our members left Thursday for a live steam meet at the Mill Creek Central Railroad in Coshocton, Ohio this weekend. First day was a lot of rain and we had some technical difficulties but we are still having lots of fun!

Our opening day of the season is June 27!

We will be running every Saturday from June 27 until September 5 from 11am until 4pm!

All rides are by donation and all money raised goes to the maintenance and future upgrades to the railway.
The Sleepy Hollow Railroad is located at 334 Metcalfe St, W, Strathroy, Ontario. The railroad is owned by the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc and is operated by us, the Southern Ontario Live Steamers.

A very special thank you to Clyde Walton for his donation of some G scale trains and track. We will be getting these up and running as soon as we can!

This weekend our members were out doing some track maintenance. Just like the real railways, maintenance on the track is needed from time to time. We will be doing more track maintenance this summer and upgrading the ballast.

The CN boxcar and the CN van number 79272 are fresh out of the GCC Trains shops. The CN boxcar is a repainted boxcar for one of our members and the CN van was custom built by GCC Trains and will be making it's way out west soon!

We are up and running today until 4. There is an Easter Egg hunt going on in the park here as well starting at 1.

This is a great model train event in Essex this weekend. Our friends the Chatham Model Railroad Club and the Windsor Model Railroad Club will be there with operating layouts.
