Last night, we hosted our Long Service Awards and spent the evening celebrating alongside colleagues, family, and friends. It was a wonderful evening recognizing the dedication, achievements, and years of service of our incredible team members.

A special thank you to Origin Brewing for hosting us, and to Wheatland EMS Board Members Darcy Burke, Martin Gauthier, and Claude Brown for helping present the awards.

This week we recognize the incredible people behind the uniform. From early morning, to late at night, our Paramedics stand ready to help at a moments notice with compassion, professionalism, and excellence. To each and everyone who wakes up everyday and decides to put others first, who takes the moment to go the extra mile, and cares endlessly. To celebrating the highs and embracing the lows, we see you, we appreciate you, we thank you!

This week is National Dispatchers Week! Not only during this week in April, but everyday we appreciate our Dispatchers and Call Takers. Being the calm voice behind every 9-1-1 call, and the strength our Emergency Services need to be able to respond to calls. We thank you!

Wheatland EMS is preparing for our upcoming Accreditation Survey, April 27–29, and we’re looking for community members willing to share their experience.
During the survey, accreditation reviewers may speak with a small number of patients who have previously been cared for by Wheatland EMS. If you are willing to share your experience (good or bad) and are available for a brief telephone interview on April 27 between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM, we would truly appreciate your input.

Heads up, folks! 📢

If you're driving past the Strathmore High School on Brent Blvd tomorrow around noon and see what looks like a serious car crash and flashing lights, don't panic!

What you're seeing is a MOCK crash event taking place as part of Impaired Driving Month. Emergency vehicles, crews, and a staged scene may be visible near the school. Everyone is safe, this is a planned and educational demonstration to raise awareness about the dangers of impaired driving.

The numbers are in…

Together with SFD & CMJHS we have raised 723lbs of food donations for the Wheatland County Food Bank! Thank you to everyone who was so kind and generous enough to make a donation, until next year!

It is that time of year again!
Wheatland EMS has partnered with Strathmore Fire Department and CMJHS to see if we can make this years Hockey For Hunger, the best one yet!

Non perishable food items will be collected until the morning of December 5th, if you would like to donate we can gladly set up a collection time. 🏒🎄
