Tonight the Stratford and District Labour Council gathered with friends in Labour to celebrate 70 years of activism. Shout out to Kelly McIntosh of the Stratford Perth Museum, Stratford Mayor Martin Ritsma, Kim Kent of the CLC and Patti-Jo Lindner, president of the Stratford and District Labour Council for inspiring the gathering with your words.
Thanks also to OECTA member Michelle Dzijacky for visiting the archives to create the very entertaining and educational slide show.
Last but not least we need to thank Cakes by Julie for the delicious cake!

Happy National Volunteer Week!

Each individual volunteer contribution, big or small, creates momentum and has the power to influence and inspire, joining a wave of positive change.

Eva Sippel, a retired high school teacher, is the epitome of what a volunteer is: dedicated, available, enthusiastic, supportive, the list goes on. She is always in attendance at our Northern Huron fundraising events and jumps in wherever she is needed – and will always ask, “What can I do next?”. She is very community-centric, dependable, and always has a smile to share with everyone. We couldn't do what we do without amazing volunteers like Eva!
