Keep your kids safe this school year! Back-to-school signs often share personal details like full names, ages, grades, teacher names, and favourite things. Strangers can use thisnprivate data to gain trust. Protect your children's privacy by keeping sign details minimal and sharing photos with close family only.

Safety Tips:
- Limit personal data; Skip full names, ages, and school names on the chalkboard or poster.
- Check your privacy settings; Make sure your social media accounts are private and restricted to trusted friends and family.
- Avoid background clues; Watch out for house numbers, street signs, or uniform logos in your photos.
- Talk with your kids; Teach them why keeping personal facts safe online matters as they grow

Congratulations to Deputy Chief Jason Clarke!

Yesterday, Deputy Chief Clarke was publicly sworn in to his new rank with the Stratford Police Service, surrounded by his family, colleagues from the Stratford Police Service, members of partnering police agencies, representatives of the Stratford Police Services Board, and many friends and community members.

This special occasion was a wonderful opportunity to recognize Deputy Chief Clarke’s dedication, leadership, and commitment to serving our communities.

The members of the Stratford Police Service, along with the residents of Stratford, St. Marys, and Perth South, are fortunate to have you serving as Deputy Chief.

Congratulations, Deputy Chief Clarke! We wish you continued success in your new role and look forward to all that you will accomplish in service to our communities.

This week's Wanted Wednesday subject is Jennifer Legate.

Jennifer Legate was originally charged with Impaired Driving in June of 2024. The warrant was issued after she failed to attend court in February 2025.

Legate is encouraged to attend the Stratford Police Service at 17 George Street West, Stratford, to have this matter dealt with as soon as possible.
