Building Connections was created to support families on their journey to providing the best care for their children with special needs. Building Connections is a private organization. Owned and Operated by Julie Bosomworth a highly skilled Child and Youth Worker with 15 years experience in developmental services, the education system and a variety of community agencies that support children, youth
and families. Julie has a post graduate education in Autism and Behaviour Science. Her ongoing commitment to training and education means that she regularly attends workshops, seminars and conferences to keep abreast of ongoing trends and evidence based practices. She is CPI certified and CPR/First Aid trained. Services provided are not limited to but include; behaviour coaching, social skills training and rehearsal exposure, respite service, IEP review and guidance, observation and data collection. Building Connections provides service to families at times that are supportive and realistic for their needs. This includes daytime but mostly evenings, weekends and holidays. Fees are based on the type and amount of service required.
