Calling all artists and art enthusiasts 🖌️🎻

As part of Pictou County Culture Days (September 18-October 4), we are hosting Art in Allan Park!

On September 25, from 6-8pm, artists will display their talents throughout the park. Take a stroll through to see all of the talent we have in Pictou County and maybe add a new piece to your collection!

We'll also have a creation station where you can bring your own canvas to life 🎨

We're looking to showcase all types of artists - musicians, painters, sculptors, quilters, etc.. Want to participate?

Our final children's event of the summer is here!

Join us for an end of summer pool party at the YMCA of Pictou County on August 24th, from 3:00-5:00pm!

Some things to note:
-Parents/Guardians are responsible for their children and must actively supervise children in the pool. YMCA regulations state that there must be: 1 adult for every 4 children under the age of 4, and 1 adult for every 6 children age 5 - 8.
-For all adults (anyone over the age of 16), photo ID is required due to YMCA child protection policies.

Residents are advised that Jubilee Avenue will be closed tomorrow, August 21, between Foord Street and Stellar Street from 7am until 7pm.

This is required for paving.

Motorists should use caution when travelling in the area and should use alternate routes to avoid delays.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank residents for their patience during this time.
