Paying your property taxes online is an easy way to skip the lines at City Hall this September. 💻

When paying your taxes through online banking,
1. Search "Steinbach" as a payee, and select the "Taxes" option.
2. For the account number, enter all 13 digits of the roll number (including "451" and all zeros), but don't enter the decimal.
3. Please ensure the roll number(s) you have set up on your bank payment profile is the same number(s) that appear on your tax bill(s), since payment will be applied to the tax account as it is entered by the user.
4. Please be mindful of bank processing times to ensure your payment is received in time and to avoid penalty.

McKenzie Ave curb lane closure on September 16 for water tower updates 🚧

Please note that a curb lane on a portion of McKenzie Ave, south of Main St, is expected to be closed on Wednesday, September 16, to allow for pedestrian traffic to be redirected away from the sidewalk along the water tower as safety structures are added to the tower.

These additions are part of this year's water tower renewal project.

We thank residents in advance for their patience and caution when travelling in the area on Wednesday.

Volunteer coaches are needed for the 7-10 and 11-14 age groups for the hockey program this fall! ⛸️

And as a reminder, register for the Fall 2026 session of our Youth Rec Hockey program starting Friday, September 18 at 8am, online. 🏒

The program is for youth ages 7-17 to learn skills and play hockey in a non-competitive environment. Sessions will start on October 3, 2026.

Hi swimmers! The Aquatic Centre is now closed until September 20 for the annual maintenance shutdown! 🔧🌊

The outdoor pool and splashpad will remain closed for the season, but our indoor facilities will be open to the public again on September 21. To view public swim schedules and upcoming lessons, visit Steinbach.ca/Pool 🤽‍♀️
