Steinbach *definitely showed up* to recycle their used oil during last year's Oil Recycling Day, and by doing so, diverted over 9400 L of oil from ending up in the landfill. 👏🏻🥳

This year's Oil Recycling Day is coming up on Wednesday, June 10 between 9am to 5pm. Bring your used oil and for every 4 L you bring, collect a coupon for a *free* litre of new oil (limits apply)!

Hope to see you there, and thank you for doing your part to keep our landfill healthy! 🌿

Road Closure & Local Access Only on Millwork Drive on May 27 🚧

The City of Steinbach would like to inform the public that on Wednesday, May 27th, a portion of Millwork Drive at 51 Millwork Drive will be closed and will allow for local access only between Lund Road and PTH 12 N to remove a watermain. The work is expected to be completed by the end of the day.

To collect compost, please bring your own shovel and bucket(s) and check-in at the landfill scale to be directed accordingly.

*Please note that compost is available for pick up in residential quantities only, and attendants are not able to assist with loading.
