STEINBACH’S 1st ANNUAL CHRISTMAS MARKET
at the Mennonite Heritage Village
Saturday, December 19, 2015
10am – 4 pm

This one day event is a Christmas festival combined with the flair of a European traditional Christmas market. European Christmas markets are world famous and offer traditional delights and a festive atmosphere for the whole family from toddlers to seniors.
Visit Steinbach’s ultimate holiday shopping event featuring many talents from near and far.
One magical day at the Mennonite Heritage Village transforming itself into a stunning indoor marketplace for an event of Holiday fun for everyone. Enjoy a walk around the old country Mennonite Heritage buildings outdoors and visit a walk in history through their indoor museum.
There will be a variety of food and drink, also crafted tree decorations, candles, moccasins, books, toys, Christmas floral arrangements, jewellery, spices, essential oils and so much more.
A wide collection of unique crafts, beautiful home decor and a tasty array of chocolates, coffees and baking supplies. There will be books and Cd’s to interest all from Die Mennonitische POST Bookstore / Buchhandlung and featuring books of 25 local authors from Manitoba.
Come explore the world at one location, and enjoy the warm atmosphere with a cup of Fair Trade Coffee and Hot Chocolate from Ten Thousand Villages.
When you step in the Steinbach Christmas Market the magic of Christmas will warm many hearts with the aromas that will fill the air from the artisans that are willing to share their special culinary talents.
Joy will be experienced when viewing the talented artists and craft artisans.
Sleigh ride with Santa and his magical Elf, old country games and activities. The magical Elf will entertain the crowd from 1:30 to 3:30.
The Christmas market adventure will offer you a memorial experience, join us to make this an annual event where we can grow, understand and experience the mix of nationalities and traditions celebrated by the community.
Vendors at this Christmas Market are donating products towards a silent auction; the money raised from the silent auction will be donated to a worthy cause.
Get a real old fashion Christmas feeling with you family with the wonderful sound of Christmas Music with Heintje and others.

Artisans will have sandwiches, Apple cider, sticky buns, smoked chicken sandwiches and much more available to satisfy the appetites of the young and old.
