Stayed up last night finishing this book as I git to a point I just couldn't put it down. Such a good book !! Made me cry its been a long time since a book has done that but this just hits differently it wasn't an ugly cry moment but a hot tears streaming down your face cry

Sorry life has been busy !
But we added our camp edition to our regular it’s filled with books and a puzzle I believe
I have some more ideas for it but we will see

Also someone had book bombed us 2x !! Thank you to whomever that was I hope you found some great books to take with you as well 🙂

So I was reading a book and it was a slow start.. and wasnt sure if I liked it .. A thousand splendid sons

And now I can’t find the book hmm maybe it was the library gods telling me the book was not mine to be read at this time ..
I looked for it and cannot find it anywhere so on to a new book I go !
A title from my library that stuck out was The German Midwife

I hope to start it in next few days i

This is neat ! Do you keep a list ? I’m trying to start

“My dad, Dan Pelzer, died July 1 at the age of 92, leaving me the list of the thousands of books he read since 1962. ALL of his books were Columbus Metropolitan Library books.

Nobody loved the library more than Dan. When we were little, he took us to the downtown library every Saturday morning and enrolled us in every summer reading program. He was a regular at the Livingston and then Whitehall branches until he could no longer read. I'm sure he would be among your highest circulation and longest term borrowers.

We thought about printing the list to distribute at his funeral, but it was too long.

In his obituary, we suggested that people read ‘a real page turner’ in lieu of flowers.”
