Yes, It's Designated! – Anderson House, St. John's

Located off Signal Hill Road and dating from circa 1804-1805, Anderson House is the oldest original building in St. John’s. It was built by militiaman Sergeant James Anderson and was often used as a military billet and stable. It is a rare example of a type of hip-roofed home that was common in St. John’s before the fire of 1816. It was designated a Registered Heritage Structure in 1996 and is now home to two companies - engineering consulting firm Innovative Development & Design Engineers Ltd and Sandra Fowler Accounting & Fraud Investigation.
