Newfoundland and Labrador Young Liberals (NLYL)

Newfoundland and Labrador Young Liberals (NLYL) The Newfoundland and Labrador Young Liberals, representing members 14-26 of the Liberal Party of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Liberal Party of Canada

Representing individuals between the ages of 14-25, the Newfoundland & Labrador Young Liberals (NLYL) play an important role in both the Liberal Party of Canada and the Liberal Party of Newfoundland & Labrador. The NLYL and Young Liberals everywhere have become the voice of the youth, the voice of change, and the voice of renewal within the party. We are a way for interested youth to become active

ly involved in politics and we provide a forum to affect meaningful change. The NLYL has demonstrated its ability to be involved in grassroots organization in everything from policy development to membership drives. This involvement prepares youth for leadership roles within the Party, and their broader communities. The NLYL is committed to championing the innovative ideas and energy of youth and encouraging participation in the political process, while at the same time providing them with the opportunity and tools to make a difference. From advocating new and exciting policy ideas to connecting and empowering youth, we are building relationships and forging networks to help broaden our horizons. The NLYL maintains an active presence across Newfoundland & Labrador's undergraduate campuses and in ridings across the province. Events, both political and social, occur throughout the year in every corner of the province. The best way to get involved is to jump right in. Join us today!

We are sending our congratulations to all of those who have been elected and our thanks to all of those who put their names forward. And of course we cannot forget all the volunteers as without them none of this would ever be possible. The hard work starts now!

“The time for boldness is now Newfoundland and Labrador. From here, it’s forward only. Forward always.” - Andrew Furey, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador
