Our former Liberal Government was setting Newfoundland and Labrador up for success, laying the groundwork for a stronger, brighter future.

The Conservatives have simply turned their backs on those opportunities.

Congratulations on a great season and a memorable playoff run, Alex!

Newfoundland and Labrador was behind you every step of the way, and we can’t wait to see what you do on the ice next season.

Wishing all Early Childhood Educators in Newfoundland and Labrador a very happy ECE Week!

You bring a smile to the faces of the children in your care every single day, and your influence on their growth and development is immeasurable.

I hope this week you feel the appreciation and recognition that you so very much deserve.

Our team will continue to advocate to the government for updates to the wage grid and needed improvements to your benefits.

The band is getting back together.

Premier Wakeham secretly hired Jerome Kennedy, Danny Williams’ former cabinet minister and the natural resources minister at the time of Muskrat Falls’ sanction, to negotiate the MOU.

He hid it from Newfoundlanders and Labradorians until he was forced to admit it in the House of Assembly.

The Conservative budget fails to deliver increased allocation for specialized supports such as counsellors and speech language pathologists, and provides no meaningful action to address recruitment and retention of teachers.

Our students and educators need more support, and the classrooms can’t wait.

Today I met with the Liberal Leader of Quebec, Charles Milliard.
We spoke about the upcoming April 30 expiry of the Churchill Falls MOU.

This is a critical moment for both Newfoundland and Labrador and Quebec. Premier Wakeham must be transparent with the public about the status of discussions and the path forward.

The agreement should be extended to allow negotiations to continue in good faith.

There is a real opportunity to reach a fair, modern deal that benefits both provinces, and that work must continue.

Thank you to all healthcare professionals!

Thank you to all healthcare professionals!

This weekend marked the launch of CorCare across Newfoundland and Labrador.
This is a significant step forward for healthcare in our province, but with any major change comes a period of transition and adjustment.

To all healthcare professionals and everyone working within our healthcare system, thank you.

Your patience, adaptability, and continued dedication to patient care while learning a new system and managing your regular responsibilities has not gone unnoticed.

It was a pleasure to speak with Prime Minister Mark Carney today.

We discussed shared interests, the Churchill Falls MOU, and how Newfoundland and Labrador can lead the charge on nation-building projects.

Thank you for your time, and I look forward to chatting again.

During National Tourism Week, why is the Minister of Tourism changing our province’s landmarks for photos?

Not only is she altering images of the building, she is also removing one of the most powerful symbols of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment, the caribou.

It is not just a logo; it is a deeply rooted symbol of loss and identity, and a lasting tribute to our soldiers.
