We love nothing more than welcoming visitors to the Capital Region. It was a pleasure to host Gareth Bevan and Steve Jeffries from Trident Engineering for a closer look at some of the strengths our region has to offer.

After spending some time at our office, Advantage St. John’s CEO Michelle Simms, joined them for a visit to Newdock - St. John's Dockyard Ltd., just one example of the infrastructure, capabilities, and industry assets that continue to draw interest to the region. The Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) is bringing Canada’s biggest celebration of country music to our incredible city, with the 2027 Country Music Week and the CCMA Music Awards set to close out the weekend in spectacular fashion on Saturday, September 18.

Over four amazing days, we’ll come together to celebrate the very best of country music in Canada through performances, events, and unforgettable moments.
