🤔Did you know? The 𝘈𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘐𝘯𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘗𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘢𝘤𝘺 𝘈𝘤𝘵, 2015, must be reviewed every five years to ensure it continues to support transparency, accountability, and privacy protection in Newfoundland and Labrador.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗶𝘀
The Statutory Review is a mandated review of the ATIPPA to happen every 5 years and intended to provide a forum
• for the public expression of their views of the legislation,
• what the concerns are with the legislation, if any, and
• recommended legislative changes, if any.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁
It is not
• an adjudicative forum or process,
• a place for the airing of individual disputes or grievances, whether in the past or ongoing, and
• assessing facts on individual experiences in using the ATIPPA process.
