Tomorrow, Tuesday, May 5th is Election Day!
The ballots will be counted in the afternoon.
I want to thank you all for the tremendous support. The calls, private messages, emails! encouragement, positive well wishes! Likes and following.
I recorded your concerns which included electronic voting, more communication, more reach for programs and services, more in person meetings, updates, advance notice when NG are visiting, assembly updates, are the feedback comments.
This was not an easy campaign to manage with Canada being large. Many different time zones, people working, away from home, and addresses not updated.
Canada Post mail can be slow and unreliable which I experienced in St. John’s. I heard you that Canada needs electronic voting, I will work to make this happen.
Please update your mailing address I had many returned mailouts and expect more in the coming week.
I want to wish the other candidates well wishes. We were four to chose from for two seats in Canada. Elections are the democratic right to bring your choice to represent you.
I have committed to getting to meet many of you in person visiting as many towns and cities in every province or territory over the four years. Along with mail, e-mail, telephone and computer programs such as Teams.
I look forward to tomorrow afternoon! The campaign time went by fast.
