Bibliothèque Allard Regional Library Rural Public Library Located at 104086 PTH 11 in the rural community of St-Georges, Bibliothèque Allard Regional Library is the main library for the R.M.

of Alexander, Powerview-Pine Falls and surrounding communities. It is a busy and growing facility offering essential community services. Allard Library has been an exceptional community space. Fully 60% of the 4272 residents hold active library cards. Home to some 20,000 books and serving members of the community, from the youngest to the most senior, Allard Library is one of the oldest bilingual

libraries in Manitoba. It is also one of the few francophone community services available in the area. The library provides much more than books and magazines. It is the Community Connections centre for the area, offering wireless internet access for laptop users and also providing computer stations, enabling email and word processing for community members. Allard Library provides summer reading programs; lifelong learning resources, literacy, photocopy, fax and many more much needed services to the community. Service Canada provides its' services every Wednesday, in the multipurpose room. On a drop-in basis, a Service Canada employee is here to help you.

Each month, a Service Manitoba community service advisor will be at the library from 9:30 to 3:30 to offer in-person help with a number of provincial programs including health cards, Pharmacare, Rent Assist, the primary caregiver tax credit, the MB Seniors Hearing Aid Program and more.

They hope to visit our library monthly and we’ll share future dates when their schedule has been set.

🌸 Wings of Power Playgroup – Mother’s Day Celebration! 🌸

Get ready for a morning full of fun, creativity, and big smiles!
Families are invited to join us for a special Mother’s Day celebration, where kids will get to make a heartfelt gift for Mom while enjoying playful activities and hands‑on crafts.

In addition we’re excited to have our friends from Little Wings Preschool joining us too — even more fun for the little ones!

There will also be a area where families can register their child for Little Wings Preschool if they’re interested in joining the program.

To help us make sure we have enough supplies for every child, we kindly ask that everyone PRE‑REGISTER by Wednesday, May 6th at 3:00pm.

Our fairy garden night with Gayle from Gayle’s Greenhouse in Belair is at the library this Thursday, May 7, from 6-8 pm. The $60 cost covers all supplies. We still have a few spots left, so if you’re interested, let us know!
