If your travels take you down Grove Drive this week, you may notice some work that is going to change the look of the intersection at Grove Drive and Calahoo Road.

Crews will be removing the Grove Drive sign and replacing it with a variety of greenery. This change is in response to repeated vandalism of the sign, and a recommendation from RCMP about improving visibility and sight lines in the area.

Work is scheduled to take place on June 16-17, weather permitting, and is not expected to have an impact on traffic flow.

Please pay attention to all signage and give crews plenty of room to work. Thanks for your cooperation!

🚮🚛 Large Item Pick Up starts this week!

From June 15-19, place up to three large items in front of your house by 7 a.m. on your regular waste collection day - even if your carts and blue recycling bags are picked up in an alley. Make sure the items are on your property and not on the roads or sidewalks when putting them out and mark your items with a note to indicate that they are ready for pick up.

Before putting your items out, review the rules and list of accepted and not accepted items at sprucegrove.org/LargeItem.
