Love books, big ideas, and giving back to your community? Join the Spruce Grove Library Board. The Board is seeking members to help shape the future of the City’s local library by making decisions on policies and budgets, supporting library staff, and finding new ways to share the library's story with the community.

Take it from Chair Jaret Capp and Vice-Chair Teresa Anderton of the Spruce Grove Library Board:

“Serving on the Spruce Grove Public Library Board is genuinely fun and deeply rewarding. If you have a passion for learning, connection, and civic engagement, we encourage you to consider joining and making a lasting impact.”

Whether you're helping write the next chapter, checking out new ideas, or making sure the library continues to be a place where everyone belongs, you'll play an important role in keeping this community favourite thriving.

Happy Agra Fair!

If you’re staking out your spot to watch the parade today at 11 a.m., remember that there will be some temporary road closures on Grove Drive and King Street starting at 10:30 a.m.

As the parade makes it way down King Street, please keep in mind that there is construction equipment between Brookside Avenue and Wellington Crescent.

This section of King Street will be closed immediately after the parade as crews will be finishing construction work next week. Please use caution and follow all posted signage and directions while enjoying the parade.

If your travels take you on Century Road, watch out for some traffic delays starting tomorrow (Sept. 12).

Crews will be out from Sept. 12-16 for concrete work at the intersection of Century Road and King’s Link. There will be some lane closures at the intersection, but traffic will be maintained.

Then starting Sept. 17, the southbound lanes on Century Road will be closed from the City’s north limit near Highway 16 to past King’s Link. During construction, the northbound lanes will be split to one lane for each direction. Work is expected to be completed by the end of September, weather dependent.

Please use alternate routes, slow down and watch for workers when travelling through the area.
