Time to Give Your Playground Surface a Quick Check!
As the seasons shift, it’s a great moment to look over your The Fibar Group, LLC Fibar® Engineered Wood Fiber surface and make sure everything is performing the way it should. A few simple steps help keep the area safe, accessible, and comfortable for kids who use it every day.
Take a walk through the space and watch for uneven areas, scattered material, debris, standing water, or spots that show extra wear—especially under swings and at the bottom of slides. Rake fiber back into place and measure the depth in several locations to see if your surface needs a top‑off.
Maintenance To‑Dos:
✓ Clear out leaves, stones, glass, and other debris
✓ Check EWF depth across the playground
✓ Rake fiber back into high‑use zones
✓ Look over FibarMat® wear mats and surrounding areas
✓ Make sure drainage is working properly
✓ Plan a top‑off if the surface is below its intended depth
A little attention now keeps your playground performing well all season long.
