reserve. We are a recognized and diverse community connected to our Nlaka'pamux language, culture
and land, with sustained economic prosperity for future generations. Our mission is to empower our community through:
- Protecting our Aboriginal rights, title, and culture
- Contributing to the health and well being of our People
- Ensuring economic development opportunities are pursued
- Delivering cultural programs and activities

Stop by, have a coffee and browse through the box of seeds to prep for your flower or vegetable garden this year!

If members have extra seeds at home, you are welcome to donate them for others to use.

The First Nations Child and Family Services and Jordan's Principle Settlement provides compensation to First Nations children and families harmed by Canada's child welfare system, including children who were wrongfully removed from their homes and communities on reserve.

Individuals in the Removed Child Class and Removed Family Class can still submit a claim. You may be eligible to apply if you were a First Nations child or the family of a child who was removed from reserve between 1991 and 2002.

When: Thursday, April 30, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM

We're excited to introduce Omid Zareian as our new Housing Manager!

For the last 20 years, Omid has worked as a Housing Support Worker helping folks navigate mental health and addiction challenges.

He is so excited to start this chapter, meet the community and help reach the goals for the housing department.

He will be in Spences Bridge every week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Members are welcome to come and see him in person, or contact him by phone or email.
