We are now at 10 locations in the main part of Spanish, Ontario. There is no longer a location in Evergreen Shores Subdivision (Kecil & Lang Lake)

The Spanish Public Library is accepting donations of clean, gently used items to fill the Librarys' table at the Community Yard Sale.

As a reminder, the Community Yard Sale takes place on Saturday, June 20, 2026 starting at 8:00am.

If you don't want to set up a yard sale, consider a donation to the Library.

Good afternoon everyone. Posting a couple of notices about the Spanish Public Library regarding closures.

1. The Library will be closed Monday, May 18, 2026 in observance of the Victoria Day Holiday.

2. Due to staffing shortages, Effective May 25, 2026, the library will be temporarily closed Mondays until further notice, and when vacant position has been filled.

3. Due to staffing shortages, the library will be closed the week of June 8-12, 2026 to allow for staff vacation.

Our yard sale will still be happening on June 20, 2026, and we may be extending the registration date due to the change of schedule.

Watch here and our website and the town newsletter for updates and some of our exciting new activities we are planning.

Have you been thinking of having a Yard Sale this Summer?

The Spanish Public Library's Community Yard Sale is planned for June 20, 2026.

Register your address with the library for FREE and we will include your stop to the map. The library will take care of the advertising.

Addresses are starting to come in and as they do we will be adding them to the map. We have included a sample of the map that we are working on.

Join in with your friends and neighbours for a day of shopping fun!

The Crafty Creation Kit is back for May 2026.

Stop by the Spanish Public Library during our opening hours and pick up a kit or kits for the children to work on. Remember to enter their names in the draw for a prize. Prize will be drawn at the first open day in June.

The Spanish Public Library has an opening for a part-time Library Assistant. 9 hours per week, plus the opportunity for extra hours when Librarian is off.
