🚦Traffic Light Notice: May 31, 2026
Due to a motor vehicle accident, traffic signals at the intersections of Beckwith Street and Main Street, and Beckwith Street and Chambers Street, are currently out of service. Streetlights in the area are also out of service.

Temporary stop signs have been installed and will remain in place until the traffic signals are repaired. The intersection of Beckwith Street and Main Street is operating as a four-way stop, while the intersection of Beckwith Street and Chambers Street is operating as a three-way stop.

Please expect delays in the area and obey all temporary traffic control measures.

Missing Children's Day is a day to honour children who have been found, remember those still missing and support the ongoing efforts to bring them home where they belong.

"Canada's Missing" provides descriptions and images of missing persons, including details about where they were last seen. Public awareness plays a crucial role in bringing loved ones home.

Kids Bike Safety Rodeo is set to begin shortly. Youth Arena Smiths Falls. Come on down! Thank you to the Kinsmen, SF Fire Department Crime Stoppers and the Ambulance Services. Also big shout out to all the sponsors that made this such a success. Kinsmen volunteers, hats off to you all for all the hard work.

We wish to congratulate a very special friend to our service and our local Special Olympic athletes Judy Jones! For well over 40 years Judy has dedicated her time behind the scenes being that constant person who ensures every person is included in all activities by organizing many local events such as the Golf Tournament, the Torch Run tolls, driving people to programs, raising thousands of dollars for Special Olympics Ontario and most importantly encouraging everyone that they can do whatever they want to do! "I can't" is not in her vocabulary and you see this through many people she has helped mentor and support in our community through their own independent employment, volunteering or sports and activities. Judy hates the attention, but she deserved this brand-new award! Congratulations as well to all the nominees and award winners we certainly have kind people in our community! Pics by Kathy Botham!

Celebrating 10 Years of Service!

Come and join us at this years annual bike safety rodeo being hosted at the indoor youth arena.

We are welcoming all children under the age of 13 to join us to learn all about staying safe while out on their bicycles. Entry is free and you will get the chance to win some cool prizes. Prizes include a free bicycle, lots of bicycle safety gear and a few miscellaneous items.

We encourage you to stop by grab some snacks and enjoy the free BBQ lunch.
