Last week, three school groups at our library were treated to Author Talks. After a story-time visit from the Valhalla Children's Centre, the grades 4 to 6 class from W.E. Graham Community School enjoyed Louise Sidley's sharing of her book, Project Wild One. Rosa Jordan then hosted the grades 7 & 8's, featuring her novel entitled Wild Spirits. What a great afternoon!

The Library is featuring a book by Riondel author Sharman Horwood. Recommended for children grade 5 and up. Sharman is an artist as well: the cover on the book is her artwork. Sharman did an author presentation to the grade 4-6 class, that was successful and well received.
