Host Families care for children in their home temporarily while parents get back on their feet or work towards their goals without parental stresses. There is always a start and end date, and parents remain in custody. We want this to feel like extended family-like support! Do you have between 5 minutes a week and 24 hours a day? There's something YOU can do!
Examples: make extra for dinner this week so we can pass some on to a family in need, offer a ride to a family with a doctors appointment but no vehicle, give a single mom a call once a week to check in, host a child in your home for the weekend so parent(s) can work on reaching goals (think things like chemo, surgery, job interview).
