A huge congratulations to Nic Ash & Zoey Merk, our 1st Place winners of the 2026 Wee Too Beach Horseshoe Tournament! 🏆
Nic and Zoey took home our fabulous trophy along with a $200 gift certificate to BABCO!
Congratulations as well to our 2nd Place runners-up, Janey Ash & Kelly Miller, who fought a tough battle right to the end! They won a $150 Dinner for Two, generously donated by The Cheerful Woodpecker in Dilke!
Our 3rd Place team, Gwenn Jones & Rachelle Ash, clawed their way back through the elimination bracket and nearly made it all the way to gold! They took home beautiful Wee Too Beach tumblers, generously donated by Janey!
And of course, a very special thank you to CJ Septic for donating a FREE septic pump-out for our “crappiest” players of the tournament. 😂 Congratulations to Reece Jones & Brice Reynoldson, who managed to score a whopping 2 points! Hopefully next year treats you guys a little better!
We also want to send a big thank you to 3D Metal for generously donating some awesome merchandise, including toques, sweaters and shirts! Your generosity and support of our community is very much appreciated!
I also want to thank everyone who came out and participated in our first horseshoe tournament! You were all such wonderful sports, and it was so much fun having everyone together. I hope to see all of your faces — and even more — at next year’s tournament!
We also cannot forget one of the most generous donations of the day. A massive thank you to Grant Laturnas from Hi-Tec Profiles, who made and donated the incredible new fire pit to Wee Too Beach. It is an absolutely beautiful piece of work and something our community will be able to enjoy for years to come!
And a HUGE, HUGE thank you to all of our amazing volunteers and everyone who helped make today happen! ❤️ From helping organize and set everything up, to keeping the tournament running, working the BBQ, serving food, cleaning up and pitching in wherever something needed to be done — we truly could not have pulled this off without you. All of the time, effort and hard work you put in was so appreciated. Events like this only happen because people are willing to step up and help, and we are incredibly grateful to every single one of you!
Finally, a big heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who came out to our BBQ and supported the Wee Too Beach Social Committee. Your support allows us to continue putting on these events year after year, and hopefully make them even bigger and better!
What an awesome day! We hope everyone had a fantastic time, and we can’t wait to see you all again at our events next summer! ❤️
